Distributed Acoustic (DAS)

Short Description:

Up to 50KHZ acoustic signals can be detected

Real-time acoustic signals around optical fibers can be detected at any location (up to 50KHZ)

Resistant to high temperature and high pressure and other harsh environments, and anti-electromagnetic interference

Product Detail

Introduction

Distributed acoustic sensor DAS is a distributed optical fiber sensor based on coherent Rayleigh scattering. It uses the fiber to sound (vibration) sensitive characteristics, when the external vibration acts on the sensing fiber, due to the elastic optical effect, the refractive index of the fiber, the length will have a small change, resulting in the optical intensity and phase of the transmission signal in the fiber change at the same time.
